polaris.run.parallel.run_tasks(suite_name, quiet=False)[source]

Run a suite or task, with independent steps running at the same time

A task’s pickle holds one task where a suite’s holds several, and nothing else about them differs, so both arrive here.

Parameters:

  • suite_name (str) – The name of the suite, or 'task' for a task

  • quiet (bool, optional) – Whether step names are left out of the output as the run progresses
