polaris.Step.add_cf_check

Step.add_cf_check(filename=None)

Check an output file for CF compliance after the step runs. The step fails its CF check if the CF checker reports any errors for the file.

Parameters:

filename (str, optional) – The relative path of the file within the step’s work directory. A glob pattern stands for a series of files with the same metadata (a time series from one output stream), so only its first match is checked, and a pattern with no match is skipped as a series that never started. With no filename, the step is only opted into the check, for subclasses that find their output files at run time and add them in check_cf().
