polaris.Component.has_model

Component.has_model()

Whether this component has a model executable, and therefore whether options like the path to that executable apply to it.

This is determined by whether any of the component’s config files defines component in the [executables] section, so a component that gains a model does not also have to be listed somewhere.

Returns:

has_model (bool) – Whether this component has a model executable
